About the Company
The International Business Development Sr. Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding business opportunities across international markets. The role focuses on market research, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, tender participation, and revenue growth in the renewable energy sector, including Solar EPC, Wind, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Green Hydrogen, and other clean energy solutions.

The International Business Development Sr. Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding business opportunities across international markets.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
- Generate leads through market intelligence, networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, consultants, EPC contractors, developers, and government agencies.
- Develop country-wise market entry strategies and business expansion plans.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct detailed market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity assessment.
- Monitor global renewable energy trends, government policies, and investment opportunities.
- Identify upcoming international tenders and private sector opportunities.
- Recommend strategic initiatives to strengthen the company's international presence.
Tender & Proposal Management
- Coordinate with technical, commercial, legal, finance, and project teams for preparation and submission of international bids.
- Review tender documents, commercial terms, and contractual obligations.
- Participate in negotiations with international customers and partners.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Represent the company during client meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and trade events.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the business development lifecycle.
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify potential partners, distributors, local associates, and joint venture opportunities.
- Establish collaborations with international consultants and technology providers.
- Support merger, acquisition, and strategic alliance opportunities where applicable.
Coordination
- Work closely with Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams.
- Ensure seamless handover of secured projects to the execution team.
- Support contract finalization and commercial negotiations.
Reporting
- Maintain sales pipeline and opportunity tracker.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, forecasts, and business development dashboards.
- Present business updates to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Energy or related discipline).
- MBA in Marketing, International Business, or equivalent will be preferred.
